Olmezest CH 40 Tablet is used in adults to manage high blood pressure and reduce the workload on the heart.

Uses of Olmezest CH 40 Tablet are:

• High Blood Pressure: Helps lower and control blood pressure in adults with hypertension.
• Fluid Reduction: Helps the body remove excess water and salt, easing strain on the heart.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a sufficient amount of water.

Olmezest CH 40 Tablet is taken orally.

Olmezest CH 40 Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Chlorthalidone (12.5 mg): As a thiazide-like diuretic, chlorthalidone works by increasing the excretion of salt and water from your body. This leads to a reduction in the volume of blood in your vessels, which helps to lower your blood pressure.

• Olmesartan Medoxomil (40 mg): This is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). It prevents a hormone called angiotensin II from binding to its receptors in your body. This action leads to the relaxation of your blood vessels, resulting in a decrease in your blood pressure.

• Store your Olmezest CH 40 Tablet at room temperature, below 30°C.

• Keep it away from direct sunlight and moisture to maintain its effectiveness.

• Ensure the medicine is out of sight and reach of children.
