Chlorthalidone (12.5 mg): As a long-acting diuretic, chlorthalidone helps increase the excretion of sodium and water by your kidneys. This process decreases the volume of blood in your body and reduces the output of your heart, helping lower your blood pressure.

The combined action of an ARB and a diuretic provides a synergistic effect in managing hypertension as they target different physiological mechanisms involved in regulating blood pressure.

Pregnancy
