Ofron-D Eye/Ear Drops are used to treat bacterial infections and inflammation of the eyes and ears. They help relieve redness, pain, itching, and discharge, and are useful when both an antibacterial and an anti-inflammatory effect are needed.
It combines an antibiotic, which treats the bacterial infection, and a corticosteroid, which reduces inflammation. Use the drops as directed by your doctor in the affected eye or ear, and avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye, ear, or any surface.
Simple measures support treatment. Wash your hands before and after use, and if you use more than one type of drop, leave a gap of a few minutes between them.
Because they contain a steroid, use these drops only for the time your doctor advises. Tell your doctor if symptoms worsen, if the infection does not settle, or if you notice increased pain or irritation.
