Neurobion Plus Injection is used for the following:

• Managing vitamin B deficiencies caused by inadequate dietary intake

• Supporting treatment of peripheral neuropathy: A nervous system disorder affecting peripheral nerves

• Assisting in the management of anaemia: A condition characterised by low red blood cell count

• Helping manage alcohol dependence: A chronic disease marked by uncontrolled drinking and preoccupation with alcohol

• Supplementing vitamin B during pregnancy and lactation: To support the increased nutritional needs

Administer Neurobion Plus Injection as follows:

• This injection needs to be administered by a healthcare professional.

• Inform the administering doctor about any allergies or pre-existing medical conditions you may have.

• The injection can be given either intramuscularly (into the muscle) or intravenously (into the vein).

Neurobion Plus Injection is administered intravenously or via an intramuscular route.

Neurobion Plus Injection is composed of three key ingredients:

• Cyanocobalamin (500 mcg): Once administered, cyanocobalamin is converted into active forms of Vitamin B12 in your body. These active forms are essential for DNA synthesis and red blood cell production. They also help maintain the myelin sheath, which acts as insulation for nerve fibres.

• Niacin (50 mg): Upon administration, niacin is converted into nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD) and nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NADP). These coenzymes play a significant role in energy metabolism and cell signalling.

• Pyridoxine (50 mg): This ingredient is converted into pyridoxal 5'-phosphate (PLP), the active form of Vitamin B6, once administered. PLP acts as a cofactor for many enzymes involved in amino acid metabolism and neurotransmitter synthesis.

• Store Neurobion Plus Injection at temperature below 30°C.

• Keep it well away from direct light and moisture.

• Always keep the product out of reach of children.

• Use the injection before its expiry date mentioned on the packaging.

• Since Neurobion Plus Injection is used to manage vitamin B deficiencies, incorporate foods rich in B vitamins such as whole grains, eggs, and leafy greens into your diet.
