Nebi-AM Tablet is used to control high blood pressure in adults, especially when a single blood pressure medicine is not enough. It is a combination antihypertensive medicine containing nebivolol (a beta-blocker) and amlodipine (a calcium channel blocker).
It helps lower blood pressure and reduces the strain on the heart. Take it at the same time each day in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor, and continue it even when you feel well, as stopping a beta-blocker suddenly can be harmful.
Reduce salt (pickles, papad, chips), stay physically active, keep to a healthy weight and limit alcohol to support blood pressure control alongside this medicine.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have asthma, a slow heart rate, or liver or kidney problems, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Report a very slow or irregular heartbeat, marked dizziness, fainting or swelling of the ankles and feet promptly. Ask your doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
