Mycopar-c 1 % Cream 15 GM is used for managing the following:

• Controlling tinea pedis, commonly known as athlete's foot
• Managing tinea cruris or jock itch
• Handling tinea corporis, which is ringworm infection
• Addressing cutaneous candidiasis, a yeast skin infection
• Overcoming pityriasis versicolor, a fungal skin condition causing discolouration
• Dealing with vulvovaginal candidiasis, a yeast infection in the female genital area

To ensure effective use of Mycopar-c 1 % Cream 15 GM, follow these steps:

• Keep the area of application clean and dry before applying the cream.
• Apply a thin layer of Mycopar-c 1 % Cream 15 GM on the affected part and its surrounding skin as directed by the physician.
• Rub gently till it is fully absorbed into the skin.
• Always wash your hands after application to avoid spreading the infection.
• Replace the cap tightly and close it after use.
• Do not accept if the seal is broken.
• Consult your doctor for specific advice related to your condition and how much cream to apply.

Mycopar-c 1 % Cream 15 GM is applied topically.

Mycopar-c 1 % Cream 15 GM contains clotrimazole (1%). This active ingredient works on the body as follows:

• Inhibits Ergosterol Synthesis: Clotrimazole blocks the production of ergosterol, a vital component of fungal cell membranes.
• Causes Fungal Cell Death: By inhibiting ergosterol synthesis, clotrimazole increases the permeability of the fungal cell membrane, leading to leakage of essential cell components and ultimately causing cell death.
• Broad-Spectrum Antifungal Activity: Clotrimazole has fungistatic and fungicidal activity against a wide range of fungal species, including dermatophytes, yeasts, and Malassezia species.

• Store Mycopar-c 1 % Cream 15 GM at room temperature, ideally below 30°C.
• Keep this medication in a cool, dry place, protected from direct sunlight and moisture.
• Do not freeze it.
• Always store this medicine out of the reach of children.
