It contains moxifloxacin, a fourth-generation fluoroquinolone antibiotic that eliminates a broad range of bacteria responsible for eye infections, and dexamethasone, a corticosteroid that reduces post-surgical inflammation, redness, swelling, and discomfort in the eye. Together, they provide both antibacterial and anti-inflammatory protection.
Instil the drops into the affected eye as prescribed by your doctor. Avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye or any surface to prevent contamination. Do not wear contact lenses during treatment. Wash hands before and after use.
Eye irritation, dryness, or temporary light sensitivity may occur. Prolonged use of corticosteroid eye drops can raise intraocular pressure. Tell your doctor if you have a history of glaucoma, herpes eye infections, or cataracts before starting this medicine.
