Mahaflox-D Eye Drops is used to manage bacterial eye infections where inflammation is also present. This combination of an antibiotic and a corticosteroid treats bacterial conjunctivitis and provides relief from infection-related inflammation.
The antibiotic component clears the bacterial infection, while the corticosteroid component reduces inflammation, redness and swelling, together relieving both the infection and its associated discomfort in the eye.
Instil the prescribed number of drops into the affected eye, as your doctor advises, usually several times daily, and continue for the full course even as symptoms improve.
Avoid using for longer than your doctor recommends, since prolonged use of a steroid-containing eye preparation can raise eye pressure or mask a worsening infection. Remove contact lenses before use, and tell your doctor if symptoms do not improve within the expected time.
