Montek Plus Tablet combines two active ingredients:

• Bambuterol (10 mg): Bambuterol is a prodrug, which means it's converted into its active form, terbutaline, once inside the body. Terbutaline attaches to beta-2 receptors in the lungs, causing the smooth muscles in the airways to relax. This process, known as bronchodilation, widens the airways and makes it easier for you to breathe.

• Montelukast (10 mg): Montelukast acts by selectively blocking the action of cysteinyl leukotrienes, which are inflammatory substances released during allergic reactions. These substances can cause the airways to constrict and increase mucus production. By blocking these substances, montelukast reduces inflammation and constriction in the airways.
