Telekast Plus Tablet 10

Telekast-Plus Tablet is used for the ongoing management and prevention of asthma and obstructive airway symptoms in adults and teenagers.

Uses of Telekast-Plus Tablet are:

• Asthma Management: Prevents day and night asthma symptoms and improves overall breathing.
• Exercise-induced Airway Narrowing: Prevents exercise-induced bronchoconstriction during physical exertion.
• Relief from Bronchospasm: Relieves airway tightness, wheezing, and breathlessness in obstructive airway disease.

While taking Telekast-Plus Tablet, follow these instructions:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Avoid breaking, crushing or chewing the tablet.

• Continue taking this medicine regularly, even if you don't have symptoms, to keep your asthma under control.

• Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor.

Telekast-Plus Tablet is taken orally.

Telekast-Plus Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Bambuterol (10 mg): As a long-acting bronchodilator, bambuterol relaxes the smooth muscles lining your airways. This process widens your airways, making it easier for you to breathe.

• Montelukast (10 mg): Montelukast is a leukotriene receptor antagonist. This means it blocks the action of leukotrienes – inflammatory chemicals your body releases that cause your airways to tighten and swell. By blocking leukotriene receptors, montelukast reduces airway inflammation and constriction.

• Store your Telekast-Plus Tablet at room temperature, ideally below 25°C.

• Keep it away from direct light, heat, and moisture to ensure its effectiveness is not compromised.

• Always place the medicine out of reach of children to prevent accidental ingestion.

• Check the expiry date on the package and make sure to use the medicine before this date.

• Including a variety of fruits and vegetables in your diet can aid in maintaining your respiratory health. They are rich in antioxidants that help reduce inflammation, a key factor in asthma.

• Regular low-intensity exercises like yoga or walking can improve lung function and control symptoms. However, always consult your doctor before starting any new exercise regimen to ensure it's safe for you.
