Mok B Tablet 10

Mok B Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Long-term management of asthma in adults

• Prevention of asthma symptoms

• Management of reversible obstructive airway diseases

• Reduction of asthma attack frequency and severity

• Decreasing reliance on rescue inhalers

• Prophylaxis of chronic asthma

• Control of bronchospasms

Follow these instructions while taking Mok B Tablet 10:

• Take the tablet daily as advised by your doctor.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a sufficient amount of water.

• Take this medicine with or without food.

• Do not chew, crush or break the tablet.

• Continue taking this medicine regularly, even during symptom-free periods.

• This medicine is not for treating acute asthma attacks.

• Consult your doctor if you have any questions about using this medicine.

Mok B Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Mok B Tablet 10 contains two active ingredients:

• Bambuterol (10 mg): As a long-acting beta2-adrenergic receptor agonist (LABA), it stimulates beta2 receptors in the lungs, causing the smooth muscles in your airways to relax and widen. This leads to bronchodilation (opening of the airways), making it easier for you to breathe.

• Montelukast (10 mg): This is a leukotriene receptor antagonist (LTRA) that blocks substances called leukotrienes in your body. Leukotrienes are inflammatory chemicals that cause airway swelling, mucus production, and muscle contraction during asthma. By blocking these substances, montelukast reduces inflammation and prevents narrowing of the airways.

Follow these instructions while storing Mok B Tablet 10:

• Store Mok B Tablet 10 below at room temperature in its original packaging.

• Keep the medicine protected from direct sunlight and moisture.

• Store in a dry place away from humidity.

• Always keep this medicine out of sight and reach of children.

• Check the expiry date printed on the pack and do not use after this date.

• Avoid foods and drinks containing caffeine (coffee, tea, energy drinks) as they may worsen symptoms of asthma by causing bronchospasm (tightening of airways).

• Regular physical activity appropriate for your fitness level can help strengthen respiratory muscles and improve lung function, making breathing easier.
