Romilast B 10 Tablet 10

Romilast B-10 Tablet is used for the following:

• Long-term management and prevention of asthma in adults and children aged 6 years and older

• Preventing narrowing of airways during exercise, also known as exercise-induced bronchoconstriction (EIB), in patients aged 6 years and older

• Alleviating symptoms of seasonal and year-round allergies in the nose, a condition known as allergic rhinitis, in adults and children aged 2 years and older

Here's how you should take Romilast B-10 Tablet:

• Take the tablet orally with or without food, as per your doctor's advice.

• Do not break or chew the tablet; swallow it whole with a glass of water.

• Stick to the recommended dosage provided by your doctor.

• If you have any concerns about your medicine, consult your doctor before changing your routine.

The effectiveness of Romilast B-10 Tablet lies in its two active ingredients:

• Bambuterol (10 mg): This long-acting beta-2 adrenergic receptor agonist (LABA) works by relaxing the muscles in your airways. As a prodrug, Bambuterol is converted into its active form, terbutaline, inside your body. This helps make breathing easier for you.

• Montelukast (10 mg): This leukotriene receptor antagonist (LTRA) works by blocking the action of leukotrienes. Leukotrienes are substances in your body that can cause your airways to narrow and swell. By blocking their action, montelukast helps control your asthma symptoms and manage your allergic rhinitis.

• Store Romilast B-10 Tablet at a stable room temperature, ideally below 30°C.

• Keep the medicine in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.

• Make sure to keep it out of reach from children.

• Always check the expiry date before use; discard if expired.

• Incorporate breathing exercises into your daily routine. This can help manage your asthma symptoms by improving lung function and reducing inflammation.
