Montair FX Tablet is used to manage allergic rhinitis and hives.

Uses of Montair FX Tablet are:

• Allergic Rhinitis: Controls sneezing, a runny nose and throat irritation.
• Chronic Hives: Reduces itching, redness and swelling of chronic hives.
• Airway Protection: Reduces allergy-induced narrowing of the airways.

Here are the steps on how to properly take Montair FX Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• The medicine can be taken either before or after meals.
• Avoid crushing or chewing the tablet.
• Consistently take the medicine around the same time every day, preferably in the evening.
• It's crucial to continue taking Montair FX Tablet as directed by your doctor, even if you feel better.

Montair FX Tablet is taken orally.

Montair FX Tablet combines two active ingredients:

• Fexofenadine (120 mg): This second-generation antihistamine blocks histamine H1 receptors. Histamines are responsible for allergy symptoms such as sneezing and increased mucus production when they bind to H1 receptors. By blocking these receptors, fexofenadine reduces the effects of histamines.
• Montelukast (10 mg): As a leukotriene receptor antagonist, montelukast blocks the action of leukotrienes, inflammatory substances that cause airway inflammation and bronchoconstriction during allergic reactions. By doing so, it helps in relieving allergy symptoms.
