Micogel Cream 15gm

Micogel Cream is used to treat fungal skin infections, including athlete’s foot, jock itch, and ringworm. It works by stopping fungal growth and clearing up yeast infections on the skin's surface. This treatment helps relieve scaling, redness, and itching, ensuring the skin remains healthy and free from fungal irritation.

Use Micogel Cream in the following way:

• Ensure that the affected skin areas are clean and thoroughly dry before application.

• Gently massage the cream into your skin until it's fully absorbed.

• Remember to wash your hands immediately after applying, unless your hands are being treated.

• It's recommended to apply the cream twice daily, in the morning and evening or as advised by the doctor.

• For best results, keep using for 2 to 4 weeks even if symptoms improve earlier.

• If there's no improvement within 4 weeks or if your condition worsens, consult your doctor.

Micogel Cream is applied topically.

Micogel Cream contains miconazole nitrate (2%), which has the following actions on your body:

• Ergosterol Biosynthesis Inhibition: Miconazole works by blocking the production of ergosterol, a crucial component in fungal cell membranes. By inhibiting ergosterol production, miconazole disrupts the structure and function of these membranes.

• Increased Fungal Cell Permeability: When ergosterol biosynthesis is inhibited, the fungal cell membranes become permeable or leaky. This causes leakage of cellular contents and ultimately ends in fungal cell death.

• Anti-inflammatory Properties: Apart from acting against fungi, miconazole also exerts anti-inflammatory effects on the skin. This helps reduce inflammation often associated with fungal infections.

• Keep Micogel Cream stored below 25°C in a cool and dry place.

• Avoid exposure to direct sunlight or heat.

• Ensure the tube is tightly closed when not in use.

• Keep it out of reach and sight of children.

• Always check the expiry date before use, and don't use it if expired.

• Maintain personal hygiene: Since Micogel Cream is used for managing fungal skin infections, ensure you clean your body thoroughly, focusing on areas prone to fungal growth like armpits, groin, and feet.

• Wear breathable clothing: Opt for loose, cotton clothes and avoid tight, synthetic ones to minimize sweat accumulation, which can promote fungal growth.
