Metocard XL 12.5 Tablet is used in adults to manage high blood pressure, relieve chest pain (angina), support heart function in heart failure, and help prevent migraine headaches.

Here are some instructions to follow while taking Metocard XL 12.5 Tablet:

• Lowers Blood Pressure: It reduces renin production and decreases sympathetic outflow which helps in lowering blood pressure.

• Reduces Oxygen Demand: By slowing the heart rate and reducing force of contractions, it effectively reduces the oxygen demand of the heart.

• Stabilises Heart's Electrical Activity: It controls irregular heartbeat (arrhythmias) by stabilising electrical activity in the heart.
