CompositionMediclox Plus Capsule is an antibiotic medicine used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections in adults. It is effective against infections of the respiratory tract, chest, ear, nose, throat, skin, soft tissues, and urinary tract.
It contains ampicillin and cloxacillin, two penicillin-type antibiotics that work together to destroy bacterial cell walls and stop the infection from spreading. Take it on an empty stomach, usually one hour before or two hours after meals, as prescribed. Complete the full prescribed course even if you feel better to prevent the infection from returning or developing antibiotic resistance.
Drinking adequate fluids and resting can support your recovery while undergoing antibiotic treatment.
Before taking this capsule, tell your doctor if you have an allergy to penicillin or cephalosporins, asthma, kidney problems, or liver conditions. Seek medical help immediately if you develop a severe skin rash, facial swelling, breathing difficulties, or severe watery diarrhoea.
