Ceflox Eye/Ear Drops are used to treat bacterial infections like conjunctivitis and swimmer’s ear. They work by stopping bacterial growth, which quickly reduces symptoms of pain, redness, and swelling. These drops provide targeted relief and support a faster recovery for both eye and ear discomfort.

Here's how to use Ceflox Eye/Ear Drops correctly:

• Make sure your hands are clean before use.
• To use eye drops, tilt your head back, gently pull down your lower eyelid, look up, and drop the medicine into your eye. Close your eyes gently, apply pressure to the inner corner to prevent drainage, and then wash your hands again.
• To use ear drops, Warm the bottle in your hand, lie down with the affected ear facing upwards, gently pull your ear lobe back, instil the drops into your ear canal, and then stay lying down for a couple of minutes.
• Always replace the cap on the bottle after use.
• Use it within one month after opening.

Ceflox Eye/Ear Drops are instilled topically.

Ceflox Eye/Ear Drops contain three active ingredients:

• Ciprofloxacin (0.3%): This is an antibiotic that blocks certain enzymes in bacteria called DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV. By doing this, it stops bacterial DNA replication and cell division which ultimately kills the bacteria.
• Chlorpheniramine maleate (0.1%): Classified as an antihistamine, it works by blocking histamine H1 receptors. This action reduces symptoms like itching, redness, and swelling which are often associated with allergies.
• Zinc sulphate (0.1%): As an astringent, it helps to reduce mucus secretion, swelling, and irritation in the affected areas. In addition, zinc has antimicrobial properties that help fight off infections.

• Keep Ceflox Eye/Ear Drops at a temperature below 25°C.
• Shield the medicine from light and moisture.
• Make sure you secure the bottle tightly after every use.
• Keep this out of reach of children.
