Valerate C Cream 20gm

Valerate-C Cream is used for managing the following conditions:

• Inflamed skin infections are caused by fungi, such as tinea corporis, tinea cruris, and tinea pedis.

• Seborrheic dermatitis occurs when a secondary fungal infection is present.

• Psoriasis or eczema complicated by fungal infections.

• Intertrigo is associated with a candida infection.

• Other skin conditions are responsive to steroids and complicated by fungal infections.

Using Valerate-C Cream requires the following steps:

• Ensure your hands are clean before applying the cream.

• Apply a thin layer of the cream to the inflamed skin areas once or twice daily.

• Rub in gently until the cream is completely absorbed.

• Wash your hands thoroughly after use unless your hands are in the area being treated.

• Consult your doctor before covering the treated area with dressings or bandages.

• Avoid using it on your face, groin, or underarms unless specifically instructed by your doctor.

Valerate-C Cream is applied topically.

Valerate-C Cream contains two active ingredients:

• Clobetasol Propionate (0.05%): This super-potent topical corticosteroid works by suppressing the inflammatory response in your body. It inhibits the release of pro-inflammatory mediators and increases the synthesis of anti-inflammatory proteins, thereby reducing inflammation, redness, and itching.

• Ketoconazole (2%): This imidazole antifungal works by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, a key component of the fungal cell membrane. By disrupting the fungal cell membrane, it leads to cell death and helps clear the fungal infection.

• Keep Valerate-C Cream at a room temperature.

• Do not keep it near direct heat or moisture, as this can degrade the active ingredients.

• Ensure the tube is always tightly sealed when not in use.

• Remember to store it in a spot that's out of reach for children.

• Use the cream before its expiry date for optimum effectiveness.

• If you're dealing with inflamed fungal skin infections or psoriasis, try to wear loose clothing made from natural fibres like cotton. Tight, synthetic clothing can aggravate these conditions by trapping heat and moisture against your skin.

• For managing seborrheic dermatitis, consider incorporating omega-3 fatty acids into your diet. Foods rich in these include flaxseeds, chia seeds, walnuts and fatty fish like salmon. Omega-3s can help reduce inflammation and soothe skin conditions.
