Nflox Tz Tablet is used to treat bacterial and protozoal infections of the digestive and urinary systems. It is commonly prescribed for diarrhoea, dysentery, gastroenteritis and urinary tract infections.
It combines norfloxacin, an antibiotic, with tinidazole, an antiprotozoal medicine, giving broad coverage against the organisms responsible for these infections. Take the tablet exactly as prescribed, and complete the full course even if your symptoms improve before it is finished, so that the infection is fully cleared.
Drink plenty of fluids, especially if you have diarrhoea, and eat light, easily digestible meals until your symptoms settle. Avoid alcohol during treatment as it can worsen certain side effects.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have any kidney or nervous system problems, or are taking other medicines. Complete the full course even if symptoms improve early, and consult your doctor if symptoms persist or worsen.
