Cefixime and ofloxacin both stop bacteria from surviving and multiplying, through different mechanisms, giving broader antibacterial cover for infections that may involve a wider range of bacteria.
Take this tablet exactly as your doctor prescribes and complete the full course, even if symptoms improve early, to fully clear the infection.
Avoid exposure to bright sunlight, as the ofloxacin component can increase sensitivity to UV light. Tell your doctor about existing health conditions and allergies, and report any tendon pain or swelling during treatment.
