Gudcef Plus Tablet is used to treat bacterial infections affecting different parts of the body.

Uses of Gudcef Plus Tablet are:

Gudcef Plus Tablet contains two active ingredients: cefpodoxime proxetil and ofloxacin.

• Cefpodoxime proxetil works by interfering with the formation of bacterial cell walls, weakening them, and ultimately leading to the death of the infection-causing bacteria.
• Ofloxacin belongs to a class of medicines called fluoroquinolones and works by inhibiting an enzyme called DNA gyrase in bacteria. This prevents the bacteria from replicating and spreading further in the body.

By combining these two ingredients, Gudcef Plus Tablet effectively kills the bacteria causing various infections such as pneumonia, sinusitis, cystitis, ear infections, and urinary tract infections.
