Lulitec Spray 30ml

Lulitec Spray 30ml is used for managing the following conditions:

• Athlete's foot, also known as tinea pedis, which is a common fungal infection causing itchiness and peeling skin between the toes.
• Jock itch or tinea cruris, an infection causing a red, itchy rash in warm and moist areas of the body.
• Ringworm or tinea corporis, a contagious fungal infection that appears as a circular rash on the skin.

• Clean and dry the affected area thoroughly before application.
• Shake the bottle well.
• Hold the spray bottle about 10–15 cm away from the skin.
• Spray a light, even layer over the affected area.
• Allow it to air dry without covering or rubbing the skin.
• Use as directed by your doctor, typically once or twice daily.

Lulitec Spray 30ml is used topically.

Lulitec Spray 30ml contains luliconazole (1%), which works on the body in the following ways:

• Inhibits Lanosterol Demethylase: Luliconazole works by targeting an enzyme in fungal cells called lanosterol demethylase. 
• Disrupts Fungal Cell Membranes: By blocking lanosterol demethylase, luliconazole reduces ergosterol production, resulting in the accumulation of other sterols that weaken and disrupt the fungal cell membrane. This disruption inhibits the growth and spread of the fungus.

• Store Lulitec Spray 30ml in a cool, dry place where the temperature stays below 30°C.
• Avoid exposure to direct sunlight or extreme heat.
• Ensure the tube is tightly sealed after each use to prevent air exposure.
• Always keep this medication out of the reach of children.
• Use the spray before its expiry date for it to remain effective.

• Ensure that your footwear and undergarments remain dry and clean. Fungi thrive in warm, moist conditions, so wearing breathable, moisture-wicking socks and underwear can help reduce fungal growth.
• Practise good hygiene by regularly washing and thoroughly drying areas prone to fungal infections, including feet, groin, and underarms. This habit helps remove sweat and moisture, which can contribute to the spread of fungal infections.
• Since fungal infections can be contagious, avoid sharing towels, clothing, or footwear with others to prevent the spread of infection.
• Opt for loose, breathable clothing made from natural fibres, which helps to minimise moisture build-up on the skin.
