Ketocip Shampoo 100ml

Ketocip Shampoo is used to treat fungal infections and scalp conditions, reducing itching, flaking, and inflammation. It is effective for conditions like seborrheic dermatitis, scalp ringworm (Tinea Capitis), Malassezia folliculitis, and candidiasis, controlling fungal growth and alleviating symptoms.

• Wet your hair and scalp thoroughly with water.
• Take a sufficient amount of Ketocip shampoo and apply it to your scalp.
• Gently massage the shampoo into your scalp, working it into a lather. Make sure to cover the entire scalp area.
• Leave the shampoo on your scalp for 3-5 minutes. It allows the active ingredient, ketoconazole, to have sufficient contact time with the scalp.
• Rinse your hair and scalp thoroughly with water to remove all the shampoo.

Ketocip shampoo is intended for external use only.

• The medicinal activity of ketoconazole (1% w/v) in Ketocip shampoo is its antifungal action. Ketoconazole belongs to a class of medications called azole antifungals. It works by inhibiting ergosterol synthesis, an essential component of the fungus. This disruption weakens the cell membrane, leading to the death of the fungi. It effectively reduces scalp flaking, itching, and inflammation and promotes a healthier scalp.

• Drink adequate water daily to keep your body and scalp hydrated.

• Protect your scalp from harsh weather conditions. Wear a hat when exposed to strong sunlight or extreme weather conditions.
