Ketocip Shampoo 100Ml

Ketocip Shampoo is used to treat dandruff and scalp fungal infections.

Uses of Ketocip Shampoo are:

• Dandruff: Reduces flaking and itching of the scalp.

• Seborrhoeic Dermatitis: Controls the redness and scaling of seborrhoeic dermatitis.

• Scalp Fungal Infections: Treats scalp ringworm and other fungal scalp conditions.

• Wet your hair and scalp thoroughly with water.
• Take a sufficient amount of Ketocip shampoo and apply it to your scalp.
• Gently massage the shampoo into your scalp, working it into a lather. Make sure to cover the entire scalp area.
• Leave the shampoo on your scalp for 3-5 minutes. It allows the active ingredient, ketoconazole, to have sufficient contact time with the scalp.
• Rinse your hair and scalp thoroughly with water to remove all the shampoo.

Ketocip shampoo is intended for external use only.

• The medicinal activity of ketoconazole (1% w/v) in Ketocip shampoo is its antifungal action. Ketoconazole belongs to a class of medications called azole antifungals. It works by inhibiting ergosterol synthesis, an essential component of the fungus. This disruption weakens the cell membrane, leading to the death of the fungi. It effectively reduces scalp flaking, itching, and inflammation and promotes a healthier scalp.
