Loftair Capsule 10

Loftair Capsule is used for the following:

• Long-term maintenance treatment of COPD

• Managing chronic bronchitis symptoms

• Controlling emphysema-related breathing difficulties

• Improving airflow in obstructed airways

• Reducing shortness of breath in COPD patients

• Enhancing breathing capacity in chronic lung conditions

• Maintenance therapy for airway obstruction

• Preventing COPD symptom flare-ups

Follow these instructions while using Loftair Capsule:

• Remove the capsule from the blister pack only immediately before use.

• Use only with Loftair Capsule inhaler device provided with your medicine.

• Do not swallow the capsule - it must be used for inhalation only.

• Follow the detailed steps for loading and using your inhaler correctly.

• Hold your breath for 5-10 seconds after inhaling the medicine.

• Check if any powder remains in the capsule after use.

• Discard the used capsule after each dose.

• Store your medicine in a dry place at room temperature.

Loftair Capsule is administered via inhalation through a compatible device.

Loftair Capsule contains two active ingredients:

• Indacaterol (110 mcg): As a long-acting beta2-adrenergic agonist (LABA), indacaterol attaches to beta2 receptors in the airway muscles. This attachment activates these receptors, causing the muscles to relax and allowing the airways to open wider for easier breathing.

• Glycopyrrolate/glycopyrronium (50 mcg): This is a long-acting muscarinic antagonist (LAMA) that blocks the action of acetylcholine on muscarinic receptors in the airway muscles. This blocking action prevents the airway muscles from tightening, helping to keep the airways open.

• Store Loftair Capsule in a dry place at room temperature (below 25°C).

• Protect the capsules from light and moisture.

• Do not store the capsules in the inhaler device.

• Remove capsules from the blister only immediately before use.

• Keep all medicines out of reach of children.

• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Quit smoking completely, as it worsens chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) symptoms and reduces the effectiveness of your breathing medicines.

• Stay hydrated by drinking 8-10 glasses of water daily to help thin mucus in your airways, making it easier to clear your lungs.
