CompositionLipikind-Plus Capsule is used to prevent heart attack, stroke and angina in people with high cholesterol or existing heart conditions. It is a combination medicine containing atorvastatin (a statin), clopidogrel (an antiplatelet) and aspirin (an antiplatelet).
It helps lower blood fats and prevents harmful blood clots from forming in the arteries, which helps keep blood vessels clear. Take it in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor, and do not stop it suddenly, as this can raise the risk of a heart attack or stroke.
Cut down on fried food and ghee and avoid smoking. Take care to avoid cuts and injuries, as bleeding may take longer to stop.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have a stomach ulcer, a bleeding disorder or liver problems, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Tell your doctor or dentist that you take this medicine before any surgery or dental procedure. Report unusual bleeding, black stools or unexplained muscle pain immediately. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
