Aztogold 10 Capsule 10 is used for:

Aztogold 10 Capsule 10 consists of three active ingredients:

• Atorvastatin (10 mg): It competitively inhibits HMG-CoA reductase, a crucial enzyme involved in cholesterol formation within your body. This action leads to decreased hepatic cholesterol production, resulting in an increase in LDL receptor expression on hepatocytes, which aids in clearing LDL from the blood.
• Clopidogrel (75 mg): This is a medicine that needs to be transformed into an active metabolite by the liver via CYP2C19. The active metabolite selectively and irreversibly inhibits the binding of ADP to the P2Y12 receptor on platelets, thereby preventing ADP-mediated platelet activation and aggregation.
