Linaxa M Xr 5/1000 MG Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Type 2 diabetes management in adults

• Blood sugar level control

• Controlling fasting blood glucose levels

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

• Never crush, break, or chew the tablet as this affects how it works.

• Take it at the same time each day to maintain consistent blood sugar control.

Linaxa M Xr 5/1000 MG Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Linaxa M Xr 5/1000 MG Tablet 10 contains two active ingredients:

• Linagliptin (5 mg): Inhibits an enzyme called dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4), which normally breaks down incretin hormones in your body. By blocking this enzyme, linagliptin increases incretin levels, which stimulates insulin release from the pancreas and reduces glucagon production when blood sugar is high.

• Metformin (1000 mg): Decreases glucose production in the liver, which helps reduce the amount of sugar released into your bloodstream. It also improves insulin sensitivity in muscle tissues, allowing your body to use insulin more effectively to remove sugar from the blood.

• Store at room temperature not exceeding 30°C.
