Leezole Vaginal Gel 30Gm

Leezole Vaginal Gel is used to treat fungal infections including vaginal candidiasis, athlete's foot, jock itch, ringworm of the body and pityriasis versicolor, helping clear infection and relieve associated itching and discomfort.

Uses of Leezole Vaginal Gel are:

• Vaginal Candidiasis: Treats fungal infection of the vagina.

• Athlete's Foot and Jock Itch: Clears fungal infection of the feet (tinea pedis) and groin (tinea cruris).

• Ringworm: Treats fungal infection of the body (tinea corporis).

• Pityriasis Versicolor: Clears a yeast-related rash on the skin.

Here's how you should apply Leezole Gel:

• Make sure your skin is clean and dry before applying.

• Apply a thin layer of the gel to the affected and surrounding skin areas as directed by your doctor.

• After application, wash your hands thoroughly.

• Do not cover the treated area with tight clothing or bandages that prevent air circulation.

Leezole Gel is applied topically.

Leezole Gel contains three active ingredients:

• Clotrimazole (2%): As an imidazole antifungal agent, clotrimazole alters the permeability of the fungal cell membrane. By inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, a key component in these membranes, it induces leakage of cellular contents leading to the death of the fungal cell.

• Benzyl Alcohol (2%): This acts as a preservative in the gel formulation enhancing its shelf life. It also has mild local anaesthetic properties which can alleviate itching associated with fungal infections.

• Chlorocresol (0.1%): Serving as another preservative in the formula, chlorocresol ensures that the product stays effective over time by preventing bacterial growth within it.

• Keep Leezole Gel at room temperature, ideally below 30°C.

• Protect the gel from direct sunlight and moisture to preserve its effectiveness.

• Make sure the tube is tightly closed when not in use to prevent leakage or contamination.

• Store it in a secure place, out of reach of children and pets.

• Do not freeze
