• Management of epilepsy: It helps control epileptic seizures.

• Prevention of mood episodes in adults with bipolar I disorder: It increases the time between mood swings in adults who have undergone treatment for mood episodes with other medicines.

• Dissolve the tablet in a specific quantity of water as mentioned on the label.

• Consume it immediately after dissolving, to ensure proper absorption.

• Take this medicine before or after meals, as per your convenience.

Lamitor DT-50 Tablet contains lamotrigine (50 mg) and it works on the body in the following ways:

• Inhibits Sodium Currents: Lamotrigine works by blocking the flow of sodium ions in your body’s nerve cells, which are involved in the transmission of electrical signals.
