Kefpod 200mg Tablet 10

Kefpod 200mg Tablet is used to treat bacterial infections such as pharyngitis, tonsillitis, pneumonia, urinary tract infections, gonorrhoea, skin infections, and sinusitis. Its broad-spectrum antibiotic action helps control infection and promotes faster recovery.

• Swallow the entire tablet without crushing or breaking it. 
• Take it with food, but it is recommended at a fixed daily time for better results.

Kefpod 200 Tablet is taken orally.

Kefpod 200 Tablet contains the following component:

• Cefpodoxime proxetiln (200 mg): It is a cephalosporin that inhibits the formation of bacterial cell walls. By interfering with cell wall formation, Kefpod 200 Tablet weakens the defence mechanism of bacteria. The cell wall is essential for bacteria to protect themselves from the external environment and to keep their contents intact.
• Due to the weakened cell wall, the internal pressure of the bacterial cell becomes unbalanced. This eventually leads to the rupture of the bacterial cell, a process known as lysis. As a result, the bacterium dies, and the infection is eliminated.

• Kefpod 200 Tablet should be stored at room temperature, at 25°C.
• Please protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.
