Instaraft Oral Suspension is a rapid-acting antacid and anti-reflux medication used for the management of GERD, heartburn, and gastric acidity. It works by creating a physical raft-like barrier on top of the stomach contents, which keeps acid from rising back into the oesophagus. Additionally, it neutralises excess stomach acid to provide immediate relief from the burning sensation in the chest and throat. The sugar-free, mint-flavoured formula ensures high patient compliance and is suitable for individuals monitoring their glucose intake.

• Sodium Alginate IP: Sodium Alginate is a naturally derived compound commonly used in formulations to help manage symptoms of digestive discomfort. It forms a viscous gel when combined with gastric acid, creating a physical barrier in the stomach that may help reduce the sensation of heartburn and promote digestive comfort.
   
• Sodium Bicarbonate IP: Sodium Bicarbonate is an alkalising agent that works to neutralise excess stomach acid. It helps manage acidity-related concerns, including heartburn and indigestion and supports the maintenance of a balanced gastric environment for improved digestive health.
   
• Calcium Carbonate IP: Calcium Carbonate is a mineral-based ingredient that helps manage symptoms of indigestion by neutralising stomach acid. It supports the reduction of acid-related discomfort and contributes to overall digestive well-being.
   
• Other Ingredients: Flavour: Mint, Colour: Erythrosine, Sodium content (in 5 ml) - Less than 70 mg, Saccharin Sodium IP (as an artificial sweetener)

• Promotes Overall Well-Being: It is formulated with a sugar-free composition and refreshing mint flavour, making it a pleasant option for digestive care and overall wellness.
   
• Provides Quick Relief from Acidity-Related Concerns: It works rapidly to neutralise stomach acid, offering immediate comfort from symptoms like burning or heaviness.

• Adults and children over 12 years, 10-20 ml, after meals and at bedtime.
• Children (6 to 12 years), 5-10 ml, after meals and at bedtime.

• Shake well before use. 
• Do not store above 30°Celsius. 
• Do not refrigerate.
• Keep the bottle tightly closed.
• Read the label carefully before use.
• Do not exceed the recommended dosage.
• Do not chew or crush the capsule, swallow it as a whole with water.

Precautions: 

• Do not use it if you are allergic to any ingredient.
• Care is advised if on a controlled sodium diet (e.g. in some cases of congestive cardiac failure, renal impairment, hypertension and endemic states).
• Care should be taken if suffering from hypercalcaemia, nephrocalcinosis or recurrent calcium-containing renal calculi.
• A 2-hour time interval should be considered between InstaRaft® intake and the administration of other medicinal products.
