IF 2 Eye Drops belongs to a group of medicines called antihistamines. It is used to treat allergic conjunctivitis caused by pollen, dust, animal fur and other allergens, which cause itching, redness and swelling of the eyes.
This medicine works by blocking histamine, the chemical the body releases during an allergic reaction, which relieves itching, redness and watering of the eyes caused by allergens.
Instil the prescribed number of drops into the affected eye, as your doctor advises, and continue for as long as needed to control seasonal or ongoing allergy symptoms.
Remove contact lenses before use and wait at least fifteen minutes before reinserting them, unless your doctor advises otherwise. Avoid touching the dropper tip to your eye or any surface to prevent contamination.
