Histafree Eye Drops are used in treating allergic conjunctivitis caused by pollen, dust, pet dander and other allergens. These drops belong to the antihistamine class of medicines, and help reduce itching and redness in the eyes.
This medicine works by blocking histamine, the chemical the body releases during an allergic reaction, which reduces itching, redness and irritation of the eyes caused by allergens.
Instil the prescribed number of drops into the affected eye, as your doctor advises, and continue for as long as needed to control seasonal or ongoing allergy symptoms.
Remove contact lenses before use and wait at least fifteen minutes before reinserting them, unless your doctor advises otherwise. Avoid touching the dropper tip to your eye or any surface to prevent contamination.
