Glycohale FB Inhaler is used for the following:

• Long-term maintenance treatment of COPD

• Managing chronic bronchitis symptoms

• Controlling emphysema-related breathing difficulties

• Reducing airflow obstruction in the lungs

• Decreasing inflammation in airways

• Preventing COPD symptom flare-ups

• Improving breathing capacity in COPD patients

• Reducing mucus production in bronchial tubes

Follow these instructions while using Glycohale FB Inhaler:

• Shake the inhaler well before each use.

• Breathe out fully before placing the mouthpiece between your lips.

• Press down on the inhaler whilst taking a slow, deep breath.

• Hold your breath for 10 seconds, then breathe out slowly.

• Rinse your mouth with water after using the inhaler to prevent oral thrush.

• Keep the mouthpiece clean and dry.

• Store your inhaler at room temperature away from direct sunlight.

Glycohale FB Inhaler is administered via inhalation.

Glycohale FB Inhaler contains three active ingredients:

• Budesonide (200 mcg): This is an anti-inflammatory corticosteroid that works by inhibiting multiple inflammatory genes in the airways and increasing the expression of anti-inflammatory proteins, thereby reducing swelling and irritation in the airways.

• Glycopyrronium (12.5 mcg): This is a long-acting muscarinic antagonist (LAMA) that blocks the action of acetylcholine on muscarinic receptors in the lungs, which reduces bronchoconstriction (narrowing of airways) and decreases mucus secretion.

• Formoterol fumarate (6 mcg): As a long-acting beta2-adrenergic agonist (LABA), it stimulates specific receptors called beta2-receptors in the lungs, causing the muscles around the airways to relax and widen, which improves airflow.

• Store Glycohale FB Inhaler at room temperature (below 30°C) in a dry place.

• Keep away from direct heat and sunlight.

• Do not freeze the inhaler.

• Store in a safe place out of reach of children.

• Check the expiry date and do not use after this date has passed.

• Quit smoking if you smoke, as smoking worsens chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) symptoms and reduces the effectiveness of your medicine.

• Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water throughout the day to help keep your airways moist and make it easier to clear mucus from your lungs.
