• Etofylline/Etophylline (231 mg): This component acts as a bronchodilator by inhibiting certain enzymes in your body called phosphodiesterase (PDE3 and PDE4), leading to increased levels of a substance called cyclic AMP. This action results in the relaxation of the airway smooth muscles.

• Theophylline (69 mg): Like Etofylline/Etophylline, Theophylline also inhibits PDE enzymes to relax airway smooth muscles. Additionally, it reduces airway inflammation and hyperresponsiveness by inhibiting the release of inflammatory substances from certain cells in your body known as mast cells, neutrophils, and eosinophils. Plus, it stimulates a part of your brain called the medullary respiratory centre, which improves your respiratory muscle function and clearance of mucus from your respiratory tract.
