Glimy M V2 Tablet 10

Glimy MV2 Tablet interacts with the following medicines:

• Antihypertensives such as captopril, and enalapril. The concomitant use of this tablet with antihypertensives can increase insulin sensitivity and potentiate blood glucose-lowering effects and may cause hypoglycaemia.

• Other anti-diabetic agents such as insulin. The concomitant use of this tablet with insulin can lead to hypoglycemia.

• Antianginal agents such as ranolazine. It may increase the blood concentration of this tablet.

• An anticonvulsant agent such as phenytoin. It may lead to hyperglycemia and may lead to loss of glycemic control.

• Tyrosine kinase inhibitors such as vandetanib and crizotinib. It may increase the blood concentration of this tablet.

• Antiretroviral agents such as dolutegravir. It may increase the blood concentration of this tablet.

• H2 antagonist/antacid agent such as cimetidine. It may increase the blood concentration of this tablet.

• Antifungal agents such as miconazole and fluconazole. The concomitant use can lead to severe hypoglycemia.

• Carbonic anhydrase inhibitor/diuretic agents such as acetazolamide. The concomitant may increase the blood glucose levels.

• Antibiotics such as rifampicin. The concomitant may increase the blood glucose levels.

Food slightly delays the absorption of all three medicines in Glimy MV2 Tablet but does not impact the overall bioavailability.

Glimy MV2 Tablet interacts with the following diseases:

• Congestive Heart Failure: Patients requiring pharmacologic treatment must be cautious while taking this medication.

• Lactic acidosis: This tablet may cause lactic acidosis that can worsen the existing condition.

The daily dose of Glimy MV2 Tablet should be as prescribed by your doctor. It may differ depending on individual factors such as the severity of your condition and how you respond to the medication. Always follow your doctor's instructions regarding the dosage and never exceed it without a consultation.

If an overdose occurs, you might experience symptoms of hypoglycemia or low blood sugar. To combat hypoglycemia, eat or drink a fast-acting source of sugar (fruit juice, hard candy, crackers, raisins). Seek medical attention if hypoglycemia persists.

If you forget to take your scheduled dose of Glimy MV2 Tablet, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it's nearly time for your next dose, skip the one you missed and continue with your regular schedule. Please don't increase your dosage without consulting with your doctor.
