CompositionGlador M1 Tablet is used to improve blood sugar control in adults with Type 2 Diabetes by combining two anti-diabetic agents that work together to regulate blood glucose levels.
Take the tablet exactly as directed by your doctor. Inform them of any pre-existing health conditions or medications you are taking, and report any side effects promptly to ensure safe and effective diabetes management.
Glador M1 Tablet is used to manage blood sugar levels in type 2 diabetes. It is prescribed when dietary measures, physical exercise, and weight loss alone are insufficient to control blood glucose, helping to improve blood sugar control effectively.
Glador M1 Tablet is taken orally.
Glador M1 Tablet may cause hypoglycaemia (low blood sugar), dizziness, nausea and vomiting, stomach upset, and headache. If you experience any of these side effects, speak to your doctor.
All the side effects mentioned above resolve on discontinuation of the tablet and are temporary and, in the majority of cases, do not require medical attention. To combat hypoglycemia, eat or drink a source of sugar such as fruit juice, candy, crackers, raisins, or non-diet soda. Once your blood sugar stabilises, have a balanced snack or meal to prevent another drop. If you experience severe or persistent side effects from this tablet, consult your doctor.

Glador M1 Tablet is not recommended during pregnancy due to the risk of foetal harm. Inform your doctor while this tablet is prescribed to you during pregnancy.
Breastfeeding women are not recommended to take Glador M1 Tablet. It can pass into the nursing infant through breast milk. Before taking this tablet while breastfeeding, it is recommended to consult a doctor.
It is not recommended to consume alcohol while taking Glador M1 Tablet. Alcohol can lower blood sugar and may increase your risk of lactic acidosis (accumulation of lactic acid in the body).
Glador M1 Tablet should be cautiously used in patients with liver impairment. If you have a liver problem, consult your doctor about the dose before taking Glador M1 Tablet.
Patients with mild to moderate kidney impairment should exercise caution while taking Glador M1 Tablet. Those with severe kidney impairments are not recommended to take this tablet. If you have a severe kidney problem, consult your doctor before taking this tablet.
You may experience dizziness and low blood sugar after taking Glador M1 Tablet. Avoiding any attentive task is recommended after taking this tablet.
Allergic reactions to Glador M1 Tablet are rare. But if you are allergic to glimepiride and metformin, you should not take it. To avoid allergic reactions, read the label and check the ingredients.
The safety and effectiveness of Glador M1 Tablet in children have not been established. Consult your doctor before giving this tablet to your child.
