Euthyrox 75 Tablet 100 is used to treat an underactive thyroid (hypothyroidism), a condition in which the thyroid gland does not produce enough thyroid hormone. It replaces the missing hormone, helping restore normal energy levels, metabolism, and body temperature.
It contains thyroxine, a synthetic form of the natural thyroid hormone. Take it on an empty stomach, usually 30 to 60 minutes before breakfast, swallowing it whole with water. It is usually taken long term; continue taking it regularly even when you feel well, and do not stop it without medical advice.
Taking this medicine consistently at the same time each day helps keep hormone levels steady. Separate it from calcium, iron, or certain other supplements and foods by a few hours, as these can affect how well it is absorbed.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor about any heart problems or other medicines you take, and whether you are pregnant, as your dose may need adjusting. Attend regular blood tests so your thyroid levels can be checked. Tell your doctor about a fast or irregular heartbeat, chest pain, or unusual restlessness, as these may mean the dose is too high.
