Eltroxin 75 Tablet is used to treat an underactive thyroid (hypothyroidism), replacing the thyroid hormone the body cannot make in enough quantity and relieving tiredness, weight gain and other symptoms.

It contains levothyroxine, a thyroid hormone. It works by restoring normal hormone levels, which brings the body's metabolism back to normal.

Take it once a day on an empty stomach, at least 30 minutes before breakfast, and separate it from calcium, iron and antacids by several hours. Regular blood tests check the dose.

Tell your doctor about any heart problems before use, and if you are pregnant, as the dose may need to change. Report palpitations, sweating, tremor or weight loss, which can mean the dose is too high.

Uses of Eltroxin 75 Tablet are:

Hypothyroidism: Replaces the missing thyroid hormone.
Symptom Relief: Relieves tiredness and unexplained weight gain.
Metabolism: Restores the body's normal metabolism.

Swallow the tablet whole with water.
Do not crush or chew the tablet.
The medicine is taken orally, on an empty stomach, 30 to 60 minutes before breakfast or at bedtime, at least four hours after the last meal.

Conversion to Active Form: Once absorbed into the body, thyroxine is converted into triiodothyronine (T3), the active form of thyroid hormone.
