Etorvas Ap 10/75 MG Capsule 10 is used for reducing the risk of heart attacks in individuals with coronary heart disease or diabetes. It lowers bad cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides, boosts good cholesterol (HDL), and helps prevent strokes while slowing the progression of atherosclerosis.

Etorvas Ap 10/75 MG Capsule 10 combines two active ingredients:

• Atorvastatin (10 mg): This ingredient works by selectively inhibiting an enzyme called HMG-CoA reductase. This enzyme is responsible for transforming HMG-CoA into mevalonate, a precursor of cholesterol. With atorvastatin blocking this process, there is a reduction in total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol and triglycerides, along with a slight increase in HDL cholesterol levels. The overall effect reduces the risk of plaque formation and progression within your blood vessels.
• Aspirin (75 mg): Aspirin halts an enzyme known as cyclooxygenase (COX), which usually aids in producing thromboxane A2. Thromboxane A2 encourages blood clotting and narrows blood vessels.
