Erytop Mist Spray 100ml

Erytop Mist Spray 100ml is used for the following:

• Management of acne vulgaris: This common skin condition is marked by pimples, blackheads, whiteheads and inflamed bumps appearing primarily on the face, chest and back.
• Combating Propionibacterium acnes: This bacteria lives on the skin and can contribute to the development of acne.

Follow these instructions while using Erytop Mist Spray 100ml:

• Wash your hands and the affected skin area before applying the spray.
• Shake the spray bottle gently before use.
• Hold the bottle 5–10 cm away from the affected area and spray a thin, even layer.
• Gently rub the sprayed area if advised by your doctor.
• Avoid contact with eyes, lips, mouth, or broken skin.
• Use the spray exactly as prescribed, usually once or twice daily.
• Do not apply more than the recommended amount.
• Continue treatment for the full duration prescribed, even if acne improves.

Erytop Mist Spray 100ml is applied topically.

Erytop Mist Spray 100ml contains Clindamycin (1%). The activity of this medicine can be summarised as follows:

• Inhibition of Bacterial Protein Synthesis: Clindamycin disrupts protein synthesis in bacteria by binding to the 50S subunit of bacterial ribosomes. This process interferes with bacterial protein synthesis, resulting in reduced bacterial growth.
• Bacteriostatic and Bactericidal Properties: While clindamycin primarily stops bacteria from growing further (bacteriostatic), it can also kill bacteria at high concentrations (bactericidal).
• Activity Against Certain Bacteria: It has a significant effect against certain anaerobic bacteria like Propionibacterium acnes, which plays a vital role in acne development.

• Keep in a cool, dry place away from heat and sunlight
• Keep out of reach of children
• Do not use after the expiry date
