Cleargel Gel is used to treat acne and pimples by controlling acne-causing bacteria and reducing inflammation in the skin. It also helps lower redness, swelling, and irritation associated with breakouts, supporting clearer skin and preventing the formation of new acne lesions with regular use.

Use Cleargel Gel as directed below:

• First, gently clean the area affected by acne with a mild cleanser and pat it dry.
• Apply a thin layer of the gel to the affected skin areas once or twice daily, or as advised by your doctor.
• Avoid contact with eyes, lips, and mucous membranes.
• Always wash your hands thoroughly after applying the gel to prevent spreading bacteria.
• If you are using other topical acne medicines, consult your doctor for advice on application order and timings.

Cleargel Gel is applied topically.

Cleargel Gel contains three active ingredients:

• Clindamycin (1%): This antibiotic works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis. It binds to the 50S subunit of bacterial ribosomes, limiting the growth and spread of Propionibacterium acnes – a key bacteria involved in acne development.
• Methylparaben (0.20 %): This component acts as a preservative, preventing the growth of harmful microorganisms that could spoil the product.
• Propylparaben (0.02 %): Similar to methylparaben, this ingredient also serves as a preservative to keep the medicine safe and effective over time.

• Store Cleargel Gel in a cool place, ideally at room temperature not exceeding 25°C.
• Keep it away from direct sunlight and moisture.
• Ensure the container is tightly closed when not in use to prevent exposure to air.
• Always keep this medication out of the reach of children.

• To help manage acne, consume a healthy diet rich in fruits, vegetables and whole grains. These foods are packed with antioxidants which can help reduce inflammation in your skin.
• Regular exercise can also be beneficial. Working out increases blood circulation in your body, which carries oxygen and nutrients to your skin cells. This may help keep your skin clear and healthy, supporting the action of Cleargel Gel. However, ensure you cleanse your skin post-workout to prevent sweat-induced breakouts.
