Dienogest works by suppressing oestrogen-driven growth of endometrial-like tissue outside the uterus, which reduces inflammation and pain associated with endometriosis over time.
Take this tablet at the same time each day, exactly as your doctor prescribes, and continue treatment for the duration advised, since benefits build up gradually with continuous use.
Tell your doctor if you have a history of blood clots, liver disease, or breast cancer, as this medicine may not be suitable in these situations. Report any unusual vaginal bleeding, severe abdominal pain, or leg swelling promptly.
