CompositionDytor Plus LS 10 Tablet is used to treat fluid retention (oedema) caused by heart failure, liver cirrhosis, or kidney disease, and to help manage high blood pressure. By removing excess salt and water from the body, it reduces swelling and eases the strain on the heart.
It is a combination of two diuretics that work together to remove excess fluid while helping to preserve body potassium levels. Take it as prescribed, ideally earlier in the day to avoid frequent nighttime toilet trips. Take it with or without food.
Monitoring your weight daily can help you track fluid balance during treatment. Your doctor may advise a lower-salt diet and limits on fluid intake and will check your blood salts (potassium, sodium) and kidney function with blood tests.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor about any kidney or liver problems, low blood pressure, or electrolyte imbalances, and about all other medicines you take. Tell your doctor about significant weight changes, muscle cramps, or unusual weakness. Speak to your doctor before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
