Contraindications

Other Medications To Avoid With This Medicine

• Avoid taking antidiabetic medicines (sulfonylureas or biguanides, or insulin), antibiotics (gentamicin), beta-blockers (Telmisartan), psychiatric medicines (lithium), and medicines used to treat heart failure (digoxin). These medicines may affect the safety and effectiveness of this combination.

Overdose and Missed Dose

• If you accidentally take an overdose of this medicine, contact your doctor immediately, especially if you experience severe side effects or if any symptoms are worsening. It is important to strictly follow the prescribed dose.
• If you forget to take a dose of this combination, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dose.

Use In Driving And Operating Machinery

• Exercise caution when driving after taking Spironolactone + Torsemide, as it may cause dizziness or hypotension (low blood pressure).

Use in Pregnancy and Lactation

• Consult your doctor before using Spironolactone + Torsemide during pregnancy. Spironolactone is generally avoided during pregnancy because of its potential effects on the developing male foetus.
• Consult your doctor before using this combination while breastfeeding. Torsemide may reduce milk production, so medical advice is recommended before use.

Caution In Other Conditions

• Caution is advised in elderly patients and patients with liver, kidney, heart, low blood pressure, and low potassium levels.
