TORLAC LS TABLET 10 is used to remove excess fluid that builds up in conditions such as heart failure, liver cirrhosis, and kidney disorders, easing swelling in the legs, ankles, and lungs. It is also used for resistant high blood pressure and primary hyperaldosteronism.

Primary Uses of TORLAC LS TABLET 10 are:

• Fluid Retention (Oedema): Reduces fluid build-up in heart failure, liver cirrhosis, and nephrotic syndrome.
• Resistant High Blood Pressure: Helps control blood pressure that does not respond to a single medicine.
• Primary Hyperaldosteronism: Used to manage this hormone-related cause of high blood pressure.

Follow these instructions while taking TORLAC LS TABLET 10:

• Take the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

• You can take this medicine with or without food.

• It is best to take this tablet in the morning.

• Try to take it at the same time each day for consistent results.

• Do not crush, break, or chew the tablet.

• Swallow the tablet whole to ensure proper absorption.

TORLAC LS TABLET 10 contains two active ingredients:

• Torsemide (10 mg): It functions as a loop diuretic that works on the ascending loop of Henle in the kidneys. It prevents the reabsorption of sodium and chloride, which leads to increased urinary excretion of these electrolytes along with water, effectively reducing fluid retention in your body.

• Spironolactone (25 mg): It acts as an aldosterone antagonist by blocking the action of the aldosterone hormone in your body. This hormone normally causes sodium and water retention, so by blocking it, spironolactone increases sodium and water excretion while helping your body retain potassium.
