Doxy 1 L Dr Forte Capsule 10

The Doxy-1 L-DR Forte Capsule may interact with the following medications, including

• Antacids (indigestion remedies) such as aluminium hydroxide, when taken with this capsule, can reduce the effect of the capsule.
• Iron preparations like ferrous sulfate, when taken with this capsule, can reduce the efficacy of this medicine. 
• Oral zinc or bismuth should not be taken at the same time of day as this capsule as they can reduce the effectiveness of this capsule.
• Antiepileptic medicines such as carbamazepine, phenytoin and barbiturates, when taken with this capsule, can decrease the effect of this capsule. 
• Anticoagulants such as warfarin or coumarins can have increased effects when taken with this capsule.
• Oral contraceptives such as ethinylestradiol can have reduced effectiveness when taken with this medicine.
• Antibiotics such as penicillin can have reduced effects when taken with this medication.
• Immunosuppressants such as ciclosporin can have increased blood levels when taken with this capsule.

Doxy-1 L-DR Forte Capsule can interact with conditions/diseases, including

• Kidney issues: This capsule can worsen kidney issues.
• Liver problems: This capsule may aggravate liver problems.
• Myasthenia gravis: This capsule can cause complications in this condition.
• Systemic lupus erythematosus: This capsule can worsen this condition.
• Porphyria (a rare disease of blood pigments): This medicine can worsen this condition 
• Diarrhoea: This capsule can worsen diarrhoea.

The daily dose of Doxy-1 L-DR Forte Capsule should be taken as prescribed by your doctor. The dosage may change based on individual factors such as the age, severity of the condition and response to treatment.

In case of an accidental overdose of Doxy-1 L-DR Forte Capsule, seek immediate medical help by contacting your doctor. 

If you miss a Doxy-1 L-DR Forte Capsule dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, avoid repeating the dose.
