Diclogesic SP Tablet is a combination medicine used to relieve mild to moderate pain, inflammation, swelling, and fever. It is prescribed for headaches, dental pain, muscle aches, backache, joint pain from arthritis, and post-injury or post-surgery recovery.
It contains diclofenac (an NSAID), paracetamol (an analgesic and antipyretic), and serratiopeptidase (an anti-inflammatory enzyme). Take the tablet with food or milk as prescribed by your doctor to minimise stomach irritation. Do not exceed the prescribed dose or duration, and avoid taking other paracetamol-containing medicines simultaneously.
Resting the affected area, applying mild ice packs after an acute injury, and staying adequately hydrated can help manage inflammation alongside your medication. Avoid strenuous physical activity that worsens pain.
Before using this medicine, inform your doctor if you have a history of stomach ulcers, liver or kidney disease, high blood pressure, or heart disease. It is not recommended during late pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Speak to your doctor if pain or swelling does not improve after a few days.
