Here is how you should take Seradic-P Tablet:
Seradic-P Tablet is taken orally.
Seradic P Tablet may cause side effects like nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, indigestion, loss of appetite, and diarrhea. If these side effects continue or worsen, contact your doctor.
Most side effects are temporary and generally harmless, which resolve on discontinuing the use of Seradic-P Tablet. However, if you experience any serious side effects or worsening of any of the symptoms, please consult your doctor.
Here are some general guidelines for managing common side effects:
Stomach pain: Try taking Seradic-P Tablet with food to lessen this effect.
Diarrhoea: Consider taking this medicine with a full glass of water.
The Seradic-P Tablet contains three active ingredients which work together to provide relief from pain and inflammation:
Diclofenac (50 mg): As a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), diclofenac works by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins. Prostaglandins are chemicals that cause pain, inflammation, and fever in the body. By reducing prostaglandin synthesis, diclofenac helps alleviate these symptoms.
Paracetamol (325 mg): Known as an antipyretic (fever reducer) and analgesic (pain reliever), paracetamol works by blocking certain chemical messengers in the brain that signal pain and regulate body temperature.
Serratiopeptidase (15 mg): This is an enzyme derived from silkworms that exhibits anti-inflammatory properties. It breaks down abnormal proteins that build up at the site of inflammation, thereby promoting healing and reducing swelling.
Seradic-P Tablet is not recommended during pregnancy. If you are pregnant or planning to conceive, it's critical to discuss this with your doctor before starting this medicine.
Breastfeeding mothers should avoid using Seradic-P Tablet, as there may be risks to the nursing infant. Always consult your doctor before using this medication.
Alcohol consumption should be avoided while taking Seradic-P Tablet, as it may increase the risk of stomach bleeding and other side effects.
Caution is advised when taking Seradic-P Tablet if you have mild to moderate liver impairment. This medicine is not recommended for severe liver diseases or active liver disease. Discuss your liver health with your doctor before starting on this medication.
