Ctd T 6.25/80 Tablet 15 is used for the following:

• Treatment of high blood pressure

• Management of uncontrolled hypertension

• Prevention of heart attack complications

• Protection of kidney function in hypertensive patients

• Management of fluid retention

• Lowering cardiovascular disease risk

• Blood pressure control in resistant hypertension

• Prevention of hypertension-related organ damage

• Management of high blood pressure in elderly patients

Follow these instructions while taking Ctd T 6.25/80 Tablet 15:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

• Take this medicine at the same time each day.

• You may take it with or without food as prescribed by your doctor, but be consistent.

• Do not crush, break, or chew the tablet.

• Continue taking this medicine even if you feel well.

Ctd T 6.25/80 Tablet 15 contains two active ingredients:

• Telmisartan (80 mg): This component blocks the action of angiotensin II, a hormone that causes blood vessels to narrow. By blocking this hormone at specific receptors in your blood vessels, telmisartan helps your blood vessels relax and widen, which lowers your blood pressure.

• Chlorthalidone (6.25 mg): This is a thiazide-like diuretic or "water pill" that increases the amount of salt and water your kidneys remove from your body as urine. This process reduces the volume of fluid in your bloodstream, which helps lower your blood pressure.

• Store Ctd T 6.25/80 Tablet 15 at room temperature between 20°C to 25°C.

• Keep the container tightly closed to protect it from moisture.

• Store away from direct sunlight and heat sources.

• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date printed on the packaging.

• Reduce salt intake: Limiting sodium in your diet helps manage high blood pressure (hypertension). Try to avoid processed foods, pickles, and adding extra salt to meals.
